Book 1 Additions

Last week I wrote how I felt the need to go back and make some changes to the story after visiting the real world location of Extraordinary Man’s birth and the center point of the first and second book.

I still have a few more additions and corrections to make this week but I thought I would share this addition to the prelude giving a little more history to Extraordinary Man’s early life.

I loved growing up in the Dust Bowl. My parents were settlers and had purchased a piece of property in northwest Iowa intent on being farmers. The Civil War had just ended and they were looking to make a new life. My father had been a soldier and seen too much death and bloodshed. He wanted someplace to create life. It was ironic that shortly after purchasing the land and getting started that the closest town built a fort for an impending Native American Indian attack. It never came but I remember my father’s stories about all the commotion it caused.
