It’s been a while since I posted. Entirely my fault.
As I predicted my editor finished her review quickly. The results were…. brutal. But then I don’t pay her to be nice. 🙂
In reality it was very helpful and most of the criticism was based on the suspended belief aspects of the story. She still thinks that the overall idea is solid. The new plot mechanisms work. Now I just have a couple of minor issues that need to be reworked to which she has given plenty of suggestions. We have also talked about the biggest of the unbelievable issues and worked out a solution.
So yes that means another re-write, however I feel this will be the last major re-write and that for the most part it will be a lot easier than the last re-write.
With that in mind I have put up the last 2 chapters for my private members to read and review. Enjoy.
